Responsibilities

  • Development and support of tools and processes to extend and enhance the pipeline
  • Receive mission from TD supervisor and working closely with the different departments’ supervisor
  • Test tools before implementation and create/integrate a documentation
  • Anticipate risk of potential problems with pipeline tools and escalate to TD supervisor
  • Ensure that the codes or development are sustainable and re-usable across productions present and future

Requirements

  • Good general knowledge of Maya, Nuke
  • Excellent understanding of the Shotgrid ecosystem
  • Strong programming skills. Proficiency in Python and Qt required
  • Familiarity with issue tracking software (Gitlab) and version management systems (Git)
  • Excellent understanding of 3D in general (modeling, light, simulation…)
  • Comfortable with a LINUX/UNIX environment
  • Proficient in English or in French (with technical English)

Considered as a plus

  • Knowledge of Mari, Houdini, Substance painter
  • Coding knowledge in C++ (Maya API)
  • Experience with Shotgrid Event Framework
  • Experience with writing scripts and processes on a renderfarm
  • Knowledge of web frameworks based on python like Django or Flask (backend and frontend)
  • Experience with Docker

Qualification

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in CG film and special effects industry

Roles and responsibilities

The Senior Production Manager / Line producer will oversee all operations and fabrication step for a 3D feature film production, from the pre-production phase through postproduction till delivery of the completed work.

  • Create and maintain the Global production schedule (for all studios) in accordance with the progress and deadlines. Track key milestones.
  • Manage the others Production Managers and Production coordinators daily to ensure that the departments outputs are aligned with the production schedule.
  • Manage artistic teams in cooperation with leads daily. Prepare and adapt production tasks scheduling/tracking tools and anticipate needs for incoming tasks.
  • Manage, monitor, and adapt Global production budget together with local Production Managers and Studio Directors. Challenge the status quo, push for cost optimization, and value creation.
  • Create and maintain up to date the Production Global cash-flow (for all studios) on a regular basis.
  • Anticipate needs for new resources and hire the staff required for the production, together with Head of Production, Production Managers and Studio directors.
  • Track all costs and report costs and production progress through scoreboards to ensure the production stays within the given budget.
  • Identify departments at risk, propose and put in place corrective actions when needed.
  • Communicate, work closely, and troubleshoot budget and production problems with the Head of Production and the Producers.
  • Communicate and work closely with Chief Financial Officer and Production administrator for all administrative and financial topics.
  • Communicate and work closely with the Heads of the other production department: Directors, Artistic directors, Technical Directors and IT Manager.
  • Negotiate, establish contracts, and ensure follow-up with external service providers, contractors and sub-contractors. Help developing strong relationships with partners to ensure daily communication runs smoothly.
  • Run Production meetings with the team on a weekly basis.

Skills and requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in big Project or Production Management.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, with very good knowledge of Excel (formulas & functions).
  • Excellent command of written and oral English and French.
  • Ability to work on different tasks at the same time.
  • Ability to adapt to and learn how to use new software and tools (Example: Shotgrid).
  • Ability to adapt to new business and rules (3D and 2D animation business) and to new workflows.
  • Very good communication, Management, and negotiation skills.
  • Pro-active, anticipating mind and solution oriented.
  • Very good organization and rigor in the work.
  • Knowledge of animation workflow processes, both 2D & 3D from pre-production to post-production will be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Light shots and sequences based on rigs created by the Lighting Lead
  • Create light rigs from scratch for keyshots.
  • Work with the lighting team, keep up with production standards, schedule and budget constraints
  • Ensure and maintain the expected render time, quality and style across the production
  • Work within the lighting and rendering pipeline and troubleshoot common technical issues
  • Compositing the lit shots in Nuke based on templates created by the lead
  • Achieving the final image including layering of elements, colour grading, integrate FXs and matte painting
  • Work with the lighting-compositing team, keep up with production standards, schedule and budget constraints
  • Work closely with the Lighting-Compositing Lead, providing feedback and communicating challenges
  • Possess a strong sense of composition, color, lighting, perspective, and scale
  • Producing final shots with neat and well labelled node network
  • Ensure and maintain quality and style across the production
  • Ability to think of creative solutions to enhance shots and animation moods,
  • Denoise when necessary, along with paint fixes

Requirements

  • Previous industry experience in at least two animation features
  • Portfolio showcasing latest work
  • Professional working knowledge of Nuke
  • Professional working knowledge of Maya and Arnold
  • Be comfortable with the Linux / Unix environment
  • Proficient in English and/or French

Responsibilities

  • Edit shots and sequences for internal reviews, trailers, teasers, breakdowns, and final exports
  • Manage and structure DaVinci Resolve projects, ensuring clean and organized timelines
  • Sync sound, adjust pacing, refine cuts and implement transitions in line with the film’s tone
  • Perform basic color correction and grading in Resolve
  • Integrate rendered elements into edits and ensure smooth editorial continuity
  • Collaborate closely with the director, production team, and supervisors to deliver editing needs
  • Update edits quickly based on feedback and adapt to evolving story changes
  • Export versions for review with correct specifications and naming conventions
  • Provide technical support on media management, conforming, and delivery prep
  • Assist in the breakdown of scenes and building of promotional or behind-the-scenes content
  • When needed, support the 3D team with shot prep, layout, or simple renders (bonus)

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency with DaVinci Resolve (editing and basic grading)
  • First experience in a professional or academic editing environment
  • Reel or portfolio showcasing narrative editing skills
  • Good sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling
  • Organized, methodical, and comfortable managing large amounts of media
  • Basic understanding of CGI workflows (Maya) is a plus
  • Comfortable with Linux/Unix systems
  • Proficient in English and/or French
  • Able to follow feedback precisely and work independently
